We missed those showers so it's still dry!! 900+ bales available $4 a bale for under 200 bales - 200-500 $3.50 a bale. If you take all 900 bales though you could have them $3.25 a bale!! Help us reach our goal of only working one full time job each...the farm - instead of both working full time outside the farm...to pay for the farm, then working full time at the farm. The produce, art, signs and antique restoration (when we get time we are going to start doing that) need more than the hours left in a day and need dedication and care to grow. We however like many others...need to be able to pay the mortgage and insurances, utilities, etc and the farm doesn't do that...catch 22

Thought I'd drop a post and remind y'all we have some produce...most is still growing, it's June...and Michigan lol, but the hand painted patio stones, goat milk soap, hand made lotions and body butters, and soon pies and cookies at the Carson City market will be added (we don't want to step on any toes in Portland and love our baker lady there)

your pet on a stone...or an animal, scene, name stones - all make great presents - these are heavy to ship so local pick up...but you can have it done on wood!!! and be shipped!

RAIN!!! after 2 1/2 hours watering last night cause no rain in forecast

LOL - we aren't complaining though, we sooooo badly needed this rain for the garden. Plants are looking good but won't grow without water. Fresh heirloom non-GMO produce in the works for two markets, come see us in Carson City Michigan on Fridays starting the 24th and now in Portland Michigan on Saturdays

Although I'm liking the new office....it's still a 110 mile drive every day, and that I could do without, but until the farm, art and signs make that kind of an income...a necessary evil. Just a morning update... these 10 hour shifts along with the hour commute each way don't leave much time for the garden or art work, but bills gotta get paid and the farm mortgage needs covered...to have the garden and animals. Still looking to build the sign shop...charcoals...and landscape art along with the heirloom produce markets!! share the blog...share the site - tweet it, instagram it, facebook it help me end the office life and just do the farm, garden and art

new CAD job, still looking for signs...art...

Still would love did I mention LOVE to replace the engineering autocad work with just the farm and art.. but at least I'm now in a professional office with professional acting people. That will help immensely however getting up at 5am to drive the hour each way commute...on top of milking goats, feeding critters doing a 2 1/2 acre garden and 2 markets, being in 3- 4h clubs and sitting on the church board along with the cemetery association...is gonna take it's toll.
