Sitting here at the end of my contract and before the next one...with nothing to do so I thought I'd give you guys a few pics/example of my art work... looking to build the sign shop/art work along with autocad work ...to replace the autocad work with the art/signs and heirloom non-GMO farm...

 Well folks my reign of terrior in backwards land is ending...what God has in store for me I don't know yet. Have an interview for more crappy CAD work in downtown Lansing...wishing something remote or close would magically pop up this afternoon and I could get a job that paid well enough to pay bills...within like 20 minutes of my Orleans, Michigan home..using my autocad, art, design or many of my other skills while we work on our farm. We got about an acre of produce planted yesterday, have the goat milk soaps for sale, the lotions, will have herbs for sale by mid summer, produce of course, have a purebred Nubian buck I'll start standing as soon as his first kids are born (have 2 waddling does right now) bunnies for sale pet or meat....and of course

SIGNS - I would still love to do hand painted...or computer generated for someone else to pay bills...

Why is it that females are still so far down the list in this field, it's almost like we are only chosen if no one else is available, then we sit in the smallest cube with the oldest equipment....even if we have more experience and years into the field than our coworkers? Still would love to find remote work, I'm GOOD at this, I can send examples...clawing my way up and treading to keep head above water.

I have met interviewed and talked with one person on a job before...that's still open and know his mindset. If I take a day off #1 it costs me $160 in lost wages, that is huge in the scheme of bills, If I go Wednesday and don't get the job even bigger, if I do get the job I have to turn down one much closer that will give me Friday afternoons off for market which job #1 won't but I won't find out til like Monday on that one that will. The closer one means gone from home 7-10 less hours a week and over 300 less miles driving a week. In my book that is pretty big...but I won't know if the engineer talked the owners into an interview til then, he wants me but you know how that goes. I am perfectly suited to do the job #1, the owner already knows this, I can if I have to walk right in and take off ... if I have to. If I can have less hours gone and less hours on the road though I'm going to because my love is the farm...the art, the markets which job #1 will leave me little to no time to do. Prayers y'all or a bunch of freelance autocad work, design work, art work...that would...work too :-)

 I can do a variety of autocad, design work in sketch up (I only have access to free version right now) I wouldn't mind getting the cloud pack (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) but can't warrant the purchase without a job to go with. I do Illustrations, visual art, mural work when I can, am interested in landscape design or auto restoration - live just southeast of Greenville, MI. Right now I'm sitting..I'm in the last two weeks of my contract at a autocad job.....and of course being the last two weeks they don't want to "start me on a project I can't finish" so I'm sitting...and sitting...and sitting. I have leads on jobs but would just love to work remote designing and building our heirloom produce farm at the same time. I have artistic talent...and I'm stuck in a 6x6 beige cube with a group that treats me like I'm dumb. I'm GOOD at Autocad...I'm GOOD at design, at visual art...at murals, I enjoyed the airbrush work when I did that but don't have a place to do it right now. I can do illustrations, 2d/3d on the computer all those programs you use...I can adapt to..easily I've been doing AutoCad 14 years I know computers, Excel, Adobe, Word all there. looking around at our world smh

What is happening...why. Slow at work looking through the news about makes me cry. I can't even have a family get together for a 17 YEAR OLD to graduate because everyone wants to "CELEBRATE" by bringing coolers of beer and alcohol. We push drugs of every kind on tv, can't even go into a public restroom without someone of the opposite sex following us in...legally. And here all I want is to make enough to pay my little farm and be self sufficient. And can't get orders or donations in the world where everything is printed. Where original art means nothing anymore. What happened y'all.....what happened??
