short vent, experienced draftsman for hire Michigan

Why is it that females are still so far down the list in this field, it's almost like we are only chosen if no one else is available, then we sit in the smallest cube with the oldest equipment....even if we have more experience and years into the field than our coworkers? Still would love to find remote work, I'm GOOD at this, I can send examples...clawing my way up and treading to keep head above water.
