#HappyMonday - missing my #farm

Got two new dairy does this weekend, that was exciting :-) Lila and Lilly are all tucked in and doing well, we now have a nubian herd, 3 are purebred registered and one American. Husband is picking up more calves today and oh how I do wish I was there with him. Instead I fought traffic for 75 minutes to sit for an hour and a half "looking busy" cleaning desk, fiddling waiting for someone to come in like normal and say oh I have to figure out what we are going to do!! Donate your coffee money will ya to pay off the farm... I long to not drive in to the cube I do I do. The; sheer number of bloggers if shared could do it in a short short time. Just your coffee money for one day sent to the house, to pay off a farm and leave us time to build it correctly not in our spare time. http://katehagerartist.com

Emmaus creates Pharisees ... from what I see

No I have not "been on the walk" nor will I. I've done enough research... and seen enough people in my church go, to come to this conclusion. Emmaus and the walk they push everyone to go on cause "you'll love it" and so you can "now understand our dear Jesus" when you become a part of the Emmaus community... whoa back up there. You can only go to events, if you've been on the walk and become a part of the community. If you go through the rituals and training. The talks, no not the study of God's word, the talks, by people, with the human condition of wanting to be a part of the crowd and accepted.

"Pharisee" is derived from Ancient Greek Pharisaios - meaning "set apart, separated"

Guess what, news flash, that's what the Emmaus community does - they set apart their group. Even spouses aren't allowed at "events" unless they...go on the walk too. The people that come back I see are now a part of the religious elite. Set apart from the rest.

Who did Jesus fight with, oh that would be, the Pharisees, that held meeting the common folk were not allowed to go to... because they weren't a part of the group. Who did he choose as disciples, those that DID NOT become a part of the group that only allowed their own to worship together.

You are free to choose, I'm just saying it didn't work out for the religious elite last time, and I suspect it won't this time either so personally myself, I'm staying a part of the common folk.

so enjoyed my days on the farm, back to office, need help out

Got me a new baby cow, ya it's a steer and freezer beef, but they are still so adorable when they are babies!! I belong in the fields, at the farm, with my critters, in the garden. I don't belong in a cubicle, driving on the road 2 1/2 hours a day in good weather to sit. How do I escape?
Artist, CAD designer, farmer, gardener, non-GMO - available for logo work, design work, sketch up or CAD, hand painted sign work, can do chalk board art as well, painting on saw blades, drop me a line if you have a solution to help me pay off the farm and stay there instead of being gone 13-14 hours a day. I keep thinking like 1% of google plus to donate a $1 lol.

no coffee and don't use the bathroom...

That's kinda pushing it for a Monday I think. "supposed" to be back in "about" an hour....that was an hour ago, no sign yet. Caught up with what should have been done Friday while I was out so thought I'd catch y'all up for a bit.

got #cad work? #illustrations - I just bought an old Illustrator 10.0 to do some of the too, I have SketchUp and DraftSight, would rent AutoCAD or Microstation with a W2 contract. Can do #art work, #logo work, drop me a line. Need, Need, Need get away from this commute morning and night.

And back to drawing, painting, building, growing, working on the farm - need to make the payments, need it PAID OFF. Working best I can to work my way out of office and still be able to pay bills.

commuting... why?

Once again I say why? Even my engineer this morning said her commute was horrible, impatient drivers speeding cutting in and out.. causing accidents... why? why should we have to drive out there in that, to do what we do, when what we do....can be done from a home office, saving office space, cutting down the number of drivers out there in the mess
I can draft, AutoCAD, microstation, sketch up, other 2d/3d certainly not out of range. I can paint signs, I could do chalk work on signs if someone wanted, art work - illustrations drop me a line. I just need to do it from home away from the traffic mess and office politics.

Happy Monday!! Think, Think, Think

Back to Monday, back to the long commute, back to sitting and back to figuring how could I make the money I need to pay the farm off so I can stay home and work it :-o How to get out of this
and back to this...I can draft from my home office, and go feed baby cows on lunch break what a stress free environment while saving someone office space rent!! I have almost 15 years total drafting. I also can paint (not equipment til we find a way to put up a shop) but I can do your sign work and visual art work. http://katehagerartist.com

Head over to website and you'll get to see more of what I have done, and can do!!

Why is it WHO you know instead of what?

It took me an hour and a half this morning, to get to a job that could totally be done from a home office. Bumper to bumper like always, 70 in a 55, passing over yellow lines. To get to a job I say again, that could be done totally from a home office.

I don't have the "right connections" or "friends" according to the corporate world. I don't want to either from all I have witnessed in my life thus far. These are by far better options
What I need is a cad drafting job, from my own computer at my own desk at my own home. To save all those hours on the road. I know AutoCAD, I know Microstation, I have experience in SketchUp, I have DraftSight at home, wouldn't mind renting the big names...but with no job there can't afford to, for what?? I'm not there often enough to use it. I could save 12-14 hours in good weather, 15-20 in bad. That, my readers....is HUGE. That is time that could be spent on our heirloom produce farm instead of wasted, unpaid fighting the madness of commuting.

up to 20 :-)

Long boring day but was happy to see at least a few of you out there to share in it.
I thought I'd just share a few of my art pieces for the afternoon. What a long drawn out day here at the workplace, hope you like them.

see something you like drop me a line - artist draftsman

commuting for my job makes no sense, hire me remote

Draftsman/Designer almost 15 years experience, can do AutoCAD or Microstation. Have DraftSight 2D and Sketch-up on home office computer. I'd rent AutoCAD with a good contract, but can't afford....just to have it around.

Whoooo can I find that wants to save office space and the costs that go along with it...to let a draftsman do just the work and not the 12-14 hours on the road in good weather... and 14-20 a week in bad weather. That's like a part time job. Just in hours on the road, to get to a job. I'm good at what I do, will gladly send over what examples I have saved up. And after that long commute, I get to my downtown office, quite often the first one in, have to enter from the rear of building and it's not uncommon around here to find bullet casings on the ground. To log onto the internet because all drawings are kept out on the network. How much sense does that make. I like to draft, draw, create - I'm an artist as well as designer, that 12-14 hours could create some AWESOME works, help my child out with homework, oh so many things and still have me drafting that same 40 hours a week.
